Financial Literacy Training

As part of the USCM’s CINAC, ICEF delivered a very successful Train-the-Trainer program, working with the City of Detroit and the Child Care Coordinating Council of Detroit/Wayne County.

October 4, 2004 – As part of the USCM’s CINAC, ICEF delivered a very successful Train-the-Trainer program, working with the City of Detroit and the Child Care Coordinating Council of Detroit/Wayne County.

These training materials are designed to assist these community representatives in training their neighborhood clients in the basics of financial literacy and maintaining good credit.

Participants at the session were enthused to be involved in this US Conference of Mayors project, in working with the educational materials developed, and in networking with each other.  Financial literacy education is scheduled to be implemented in the Detroit community in early November.
